Privacy on Our Websites
Schwan’s Food Service, Inc. (SFSI) is committed to maintaining your privacy. Except as described in this Privacy Policy, we do not share information about our customers with any other company. Unless you provide us with your personally identifiable information (e.g. name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, etc.), we do not collect information that personally identifies you when you visit any of the websites listed above.

Please note that while the websites are accessible throughout the world, they are not intended for use outside of the United States and Canada.

The Information We Collect
The information we collect on our websites is gathered during the initial registration process for our secure customer websites (MenuSolutions.com, DistributorSolutions.com and SchwansSolutions.com), so we do not collect any personally-identifiable information unless you choose to provide it to us. We use this information to send you pertinent information specific to your business (such as commodity usage reports that you request), and to provide you with other helpful products and services to meet your needs and respond to your inquiries. We will also request personally identifiable information if you register for promotions, or when you use the “contact us” form. Promotional registration information may be collected and temporarily stored using web hosting services that are provided to SFSI by one or more third parties. Once the promotion for which you have registered has ended, your information will be deleted from the database of any third party engaged by SFSI to provide support services relating to such promotion. These service providers do not keep any of your personally-identifiable information.

SFSI, or our third-party service providers, may also collect non-personally-identifiable, general information (such as the type of browser you use, the files you request, and the domain name and country from which you visit any of the websites). We use this information to help us learn more about how visitors use our websites, and to add features and functionality that allow us to better serve your needs. We also collect specific data about the pages our customers access to determine the most frequently-used features of our websites. Any information we collect is used to customize the content and/or layout of the websites for our partners and customers. This makes your visit more unique and complete.

Visitors who choose to browse our site without registering and providing any personally-identifiable information remain completely anonymous. The services they provide for SFSI include mailing promotional materials, product samples, or contacting winners of SFSI contests.

Security
SFSI makes security a top priority. Any personal data you provide to us is stored on our secured servers. Only SFSI employees or contracted partners (service/fulfillment agencies) that need access to such information to perform their duties under contract with SFSI can view this information. In addition, access to the secure areas of our sites requires a unique username and password, which you should not share with anyone.

Cookies
Like most Web sites, SFSI uses a technology called “cookies.” Cookies are small amounts of data stored on a user’s hard disk. This information lets us know if you have visited our site previously, so we can deliver content to you that matches your interests.
